You can now run 64bit WineHQ Wine 3.18 on your Mac OSX system with Wineskin WS9Wine keep in mind this is kinda sorta beta but fun none the less…
But yeah even on windows you need dll's for both 32-bit and 64-bit and I read winetricks doesn't yet work with WOW64 WINE. They are mostly testing it right now. But it would be nice to some day run 64-bit games on Mac so far not even the native porting houses do 64-bit games yet. Wineskin is a tool used to make ports of Windows software to Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard (or later). The ports are in the form of normal Mac application bundle wrappers. It works like a wrapper around the Windows software, and you can share just the wrappers if you choose (that is the strategy used here). I made a test installing 7-zip x86 and 7-zip x64 and it install them automatically in their appropriate folders as happens in windows x64 O.S.:
